The first grant set up by the alumni for DMET · MERI cadets, first awarded in 2013. The Class of 1994 (batch of 1990–94) started it and gives most of its fund. Other classes also give to it.

Third- and fourth-year marine engineering cadets of the Kolkata and Mumbai campuses can apply. The form is online. Keep your marksheets and an income certificate ready.
